Our members, who predominantly live and work in and around London, represent a diverse range of public and private organizations, including central and local government, commercial and manufacturing companies, and specialist consultants.
Membership
Many of our members are full-time Health and Safety specialists, but we also welcome anyone with a keen interest in Health and Safety, such as Facilities, Personnel and Quality Managers. Visit this page to find our more about becoming a member.
Meetings
From September to May/June, we host monthly meetings featuring guest speakers who share their insights on current topics. These sessions are followed by engaging discussions, providing a great opportunity to reflect and explore new concepts.
Networking
Our meetings are not just about learning; they also offer ample opportunities for networking. Our members are always open to sharing experiences and discussing challenging situations.
Keeping Up to Date
Our meetings help you stay updated with new concepts and pending government regulations, ensuring you are aware of best practices. Attendance at our meetings also assists IOSH members in gaining IOSH CPD hours.
Annual General Meeting
We hold our Annual General Meeting in April each year. Attendance details and minutes are available for members on request.
Independence & Governance
We are a registered charity, and a fully independent group managed by an Executive Committee in accordance with our Constitution. Our previous Chairmen, Secretaries, Treasurers, and Honorary Members are recorded on the Roll of Honour.
We have regular contact with the HSE and other RoSPA-affiliated groups, keeping us in touch with national developments.
